Kate's May 2015 property price summary with data from Nationwide and Halifax May 21, 2015: My monthly property price summary looks at what all the main property price indices are reporting during the month. The indices range from Rightmove which only records asking prices through to Land Registry which is sold property prices but only tells us what has happened in the past.

What's the situation with supply and demand? May 21, 2015: If more more people want to buy properties than sell them prices will go up and vice versa. We therefore need to take a look at the supply and demand situation in the current market.

Latest Land Registry London borough analysis - May 2015 May 11, 2015

Every month we track the performance of each of the 32 London boroughs to see:-

How are they performing this year versus last?
Is the growth/decline more or less than the long term average?
What and when was the highest house price growth ever?
How much did prices fall during the last recession?
Are current property values more or less than the 2007/08 peak?

Out of the 32 London boroughs, these tend to fall into five brackets ranngin from properties between £250k-£300K to those above £1,000,000 (Although this only includes Kensington and Chelsea).
