Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire businesses can learn some of the secrets of business success and growth from Kate Faulkner, one of the UK’s leading property experts at an Institute of Directors (IoD) event on
Tuesday 11 February 17:30 - 19:00
Kate Faulkner, who lives near Newark, runs the company: Designs on Property. She will explain how access to the government -funded Growth Accelerator has helped to substantially grow her business. The early evening event will be held in The Kiplin Room, Nottingham Conference Centre.
She commented: “The Growth Accelerator programme and funding has helped by further raising my media and professional expertise profile. I am pleased to pass on real numbers of how the Growth Accelerator and media exposure has impacted on my business to Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire firms at this event, along with an up-date on what is really happening in the property market as opposed to what others will tell you.” Kate is a Member of the IoD’s Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Committee and is also involved with the New Enterprise programme. Kate makes regular appearances in local and national media and has written property books for Which? for the past ten years.
Kate’s business provides a consultancy service for companies wanting to access people carrying out property projects. She reaches consumers with independent up- to- date and individual advice on how to buy, sell, rent, invest, renovate, maintain or build a property via a free service called Propertycheckists.co.uk.
On a monthly basis, Kate summarises what’s happening to property prices and rents, and the impact this has on consumers and the industry, such as estate agents, diy stores and new build sales.
