Award winning self-build company English Brothers works with www.propertychecklists.co.uk to educate consumers on what to look for in a self-build timber framed kit

English Brothers, a bespoke timber frame company which has won an award from Build It magazine for ‘Best use of Timber Frame’ and is one of the first companies to recognise and support the need for the new consumer education portal: www.propertychecklists.co.uk.

The new service is free of charge to consumers. They sign up on-line, choose a free property magazine to be sent to their home and secure instant access to hundreds of checklists. The checklists give them a list of 10-20 essential to dos.

English Brothers are sole sponsors of the ‘Choosing a Timber Frame’ checklist. Jay Hubbard, Managing Director, comments: “Building a home is a realistic dream for many more people than currently self-build. A bespoke timber frame can make the build quicker and easier, so it’s worth investigating. However, not all timber frames are the same and our checklist will help consumers choose the right one for them.”
